In hopes of getting my name out to the community, I decided to donate a photo session to a few selected silent auctions this year. It just so happened that my son’s preschool; Silverman Preschool was planning their annual fundraising dinner party. I thought it was a perfect opportunity, not only because I knew the people and I felt comfortable, but I also felt good to support the school my son goes to.
On top of donating my photo session, I decided to do a Farm themed photo booth for the families attending this event. The auction item was sold at a great price, and the photobooth was a great hit! I photographed 40 families in the timeframe of 3 hours, and it was a lot of fun! Kids kept wanting to hold and eat the apples. Three kids actually bit into the apples and they were so happy! Good thing they were real apples.
Thanks to all the families who participated in this photo booth. What a great opportunity to capture this memory. If you know of any great fundraising events with a silent auction, and my photography portrait session might be a good auction item, please let me know!
