I have never felt natural taking photographs but you do such a great job at making everyone feel at ease that we forget you are even there. We absolutely loved our maternity shots and Jack’s newborn photos, but we are so glad we decided to do another shoot with him at 6 months. It was the perfect time to get shots of him while he’s still willing to sit still, and yet he has already changed so much from when he was born. Kay – I am blown away by how amazing these newborn photos are! I’m loving everything: the wraps you chose for Owen, the shots of him in a basket, the adorable sibling photos….everything! I’m not sure how I will decide which photos to include in the birth announcement because there are so many perfect ones. Both the maternity shoot and the newborn shoot were so much fun and we have so many stunning photos to show from them. We can’t wait to do a family photo session when Owen gets a bit older.

Absolute perfection! We can’t recommend entrusting Kaori to capture your most special moments as a family enough! We had the pleasure of working with her for our maternity photo session. Once our baby was born, we planned to work with Kaori for more family sessions. From our first contact, it was apparent that Kaori was incredibly warm, personable and knowledgeable. She was able to answer all of our questions and help us feel so prepared and excited for our sessions. At 8 months pregnant, I wasn’t feeling my most confident. Kaori offered to give me a wardrobe consultation and set me up with a hair and makeup stylist. During our beach sessions, she helped everyone feel at ease, yet she maintained a high level of professionalism that is apparent in her work. Our sessions were incredibly relaxed and enjoyable, and time flew by so fast. We cannot thank her enough for photographs our family will treasure for a lifetime.

The whole experience couldn’t have been better. Kaori bonded immediately with our family, so we all felt relaxed and just had fun. It was one of the most pleasant shoots I’ve been on.
