This location is perfect for capturing unforgettable family moments against a unique and picturesque backdrop. The dramatic landscape of the rocks, water, and crashing waves make it an ideal setting for your photoshoot.
We always aim to schedule your photoshoot during low tide when the tide pools are easily accessible, and the water has receded to reveal the fascinating marine life and rock formations. Low tide offers ample opportunities to explore the tide pools and capture stunning photos without getting wet! However, if the tide is high, we can still get some fantastic shots of the rock formations, coastlines, and dramatic waves.
When selecting clothing for the photoshoot, it’s essential to choose outfits that complement the coastal environment and reflect your family’s style. Flowing dresses for the mom can create beautiful movement in the wind. Be prepared to get wet feet and clothes while exploring the tide pools. Although the tide pools are fascinating, it’s crucial to be cautious of slippery rocks, sharp edges, and incoming waves. Nonetheless, it’s always an exciting experience being at the tide pools.
For the perfect romantic sunset look, we always recommend scheduling your photoshoot during golden hour.
Parking can be a bit of a hassle since you’ll have to park on the street, but we always find a spot within a few blocks. I can’t wait to photograph your family at this stunning location!
