Makeup picture day! I got to hangout with about fe Makeup picture day! I got to hangout with about few dozen little ones and take pictures this morning. Another successful school picture day this week! Another successful school picture day this week! This school provides special education and therapy for young students with autism and developmental disabilities. We’ve been serving this school for 4 years now, and every time, I learn a new approach. My spider sense is at max during these sessions! I’m constantly trying to feel the mood and be quick enough to capture a smile whenever it shows up. These students are so curious about my lights and the large paper backdrop! They want to touch, tap, and push on everything! 😂 It’s always an adventure! This year, all students were able to come to the photo room (a big success!), and no one was absent! These teachers work so hard and give these kids so much love and care. I have so much respect for what they do. Every year reminds me that school photography is about so much more than taking a picture. It’s about seeing each child, quickly meeting them where they are, and preserving a little piece of who they are in that moment. 🙏 As always thanks to my wonderful assistant @yukaschadphotography

Parents love seeing their children in the same frame. You can see how much they’ve grown compared to each other, their personalities side by side, and those little details in the way they interact—whether they’re incredibly close or barely willing to stand next to each other. 😂❤️ And this is something you typically won’t get on school Picture Day. At my Pop-Up, siblings can be photographed together in addition to their individual portraits. These quick, casual sessions are designed to capture your children as they really are—at every age. 📅 October 11 — ONE DAY ONLY ⏱️ 3–5 minutes per child 📸 4 beautifully photographed images 💲 $25 sitting fee Dress up, wear a favorite outfit, or keep it simple with a casual white T-shirt. There’s no need to overthink it. These mini-sessions are quick, by appointment, and perfect for kids of all ages—from kindergarteners to teenagers.
